Rich Medina is an elite level DJ whose captivating narrative plays like no other.

Medina is continually touring all four corners of the globe, as one of the rare few DJs with the musical range to take audiences on a journey through Soul, House, Hip-Hop, Disco, Funk, Afrobeat and many other sonic spaces. His extensive musical knowledge and deep record collection are a match made in heaven. 10,000 records from his encyclopedic collection are the visual backdrop at the highly esteemed Dante's Hifi+ in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District where Rich is an owner as well as the venue’s music director. There’s no question that the Dante’s HiFi+ brand continues to grow from strength to strength with Rich's passion and musical prowess at the front of the sled.

As a music producer, he's collaborated with a range of artists including the likes of Jill Scott, J Dilla, Louie Vega, Chris Dave, Jazzy Jeff, Souldynamic, BBE Records, R2 Records, Bobbito Garcia, Phil Asher, and many more. When he's not on the road, Rich remains the consummate resident DJ with HOME (NYC, Philadelphia and LA), which pays tribute to Larry Levan and the foundations of classic New York City club life. His tribute to Fela Kuti, Jump N Funk, was the first ever Afrobeat dance party in North America, established in 2001, and is going strong to this day. Li'l Ricky’s Rib Shack has gone from APT staple (2000-2010) to fabled APT tribute nationwide, and the list goes on.
